The Change

I lived in a dark world without any direction and not knowing that my actions would cause me to hurt my family and my life, but thanks to my Lord and savior my eyes opened. I know I live for him and I will take up my cross and follow the Lord.

I sometimes think back and wish I could tell the lost boy, “Hey, hey! What are you doing? Stop and think, son.” But the boy doesn’t hear me and keeps making the wrong mistakes.

I started thinking, I cannot CHANGE the past, but I can change the FUTURE, for me and someone else. So I talk to the young men that I come across and tell them my story so they won’t make the same or worse mistakes, and I wonder if they have the lesson, if… if…

Know the change comes with every prayer and every action that we take, so that our Lord looks down and changes our lives and saves someone like the lost boy.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Pick up the cross and follow our Lord Jesus Christ the savior. Amen.
