My name is Lourdes Barraza and I am Fernando Carrillo’s wife. Fernando is a hard working, loving father and husband. Fernando has been detained in West County Detention Center since October 11th, 2017, when he was detained by ICE after dropping off our four year old at daycare.
Today, Fernando’s Bond was denied by David Jennings, the Field Director of the the ICE office in San Francisco. Even though Fernando’s Detention Officer and the Officer’s supervisor recommended that Fernando be released, based on the reference letters and other documentation that was requested, Mr. Jennings denied the request and now our family is left to bear the emotional and financial burden of this decision. Fernando is a wonderful, loving father and husband who does nothing but work hard for his family. Fernando deserves a chance to return home and be allowed to be with us, his family, who are both emotionally and financially devastated by not having him by our side.
Please help our family by signing this petition so we can get Fernando home, where he needs to be.
