The DONE Act represents an important step toward building a humane, dignified immigration system. Congress needs to act now to stop the growth of a system rife with human rights abuses and enact proven alternatives.

This letter was written by a hunger striker at Yuba County Jail, who wants everyone know that although “we were denied most of our demands, we will keep on fighting and remain strong as one with God’s help and those who support us on the outside."

"I am very sick. Sometimes I feel like I can't do it anymore. Now I'm set to be deported back to my country, where they will likely take my life away, but there's nothing left to do."
